Angeboten wird eine Rahmen-Strebe aus ABS für alle Prusa-i3-Varianten ab dem MK2. Die Strebe kann das Drucker-Netzteil für den Fall ersetzen, dass es bspw. außerhalb einer beheizten Kammer platziert wird. Ohne eine solche Strebe verliert der Rahmen nach dem entfernen des Netzteils seine Stabilität bzw. Winkligkeit und Drucke können Wellenmuster zeigen oder windschief geraten.

• Gerade in einer beheizten Kammer bietet ABS die größten thermischen Reserven und die größte Steifigkeit.
• Stabile, verwindungssteife Konstruktion.
• Die Strebe ist mit folgenden Prusa-i3-Varianten kompatibel: MK2, MK2S, MK2.5(S), MK3, MK3S, MK3S+
• und kann weiterverwendet werden, wenn der Drucker aufgerüstet wird.
• Bei MK3/3S/3S+ kann die Strebe sowohl das schwarze als auch das silberne Netzteil ersetzen.
• Kein Verzug.
• Alle Passungen überprüft und ggf. nachgearbeitet.

Für Drucker mit schwarzem Netzteil liegt ein Befestigungswinkel bei, mit dem die Strebe seitlich an der Rahmenextrusion angebracht werden kann. Alternativ können auch die Nutsteine in die obere Nut gesetzt werden oder (wie in der Prusa-Anleitung) die Extrusion um 90° verdreht werden. Außerdem können auch zusätzliche Nutsteine und Schrauben verwendet werden, um den Winkel an zwei Seiten der Extrusion zu befestigen.

• 1x Universal-Netzteilstrebe
• 1x Befestigungswinkel für MK3 mit schwarzem Netzteil

Für den Befestigungswinkel sind zusätzlich noch drei Schrauben und Muttern erforderlich (nicht enthalten):

3x Schraube M3x10 (bspw. DIN 912)

3x Mutter DIN 934, M3 (Standard-Sechskantmutter) 

Die abgebildeten Schrauben und Muttern sind nicht Teil des Angebots.

The offer includes an ABS frame strut for alle Prusa i3 variants since the MK2. The strut can replace the power supply in case it was placed separately, e.g. outside a heated chamber. Without a strut, the frame loses much its stability and rigidity and may get out of angular alignment - prints may show wobbles or may be skewed.

• Especially in a heated chamber, ABS features greater thermal safety margins and greater stiffness.
• Robust, torsionally rigid design.
• The strut is compatible with the following Prusa i3 variants: MK2, MK2S, MK2.5(S), MK3, MK3S, MK3S+
• and can be re-used when upgrading the printer.
• For MK3/3S/3S+, the strut is compatible with black and silver power supply.
• No Warpage.
• All clearances checked and reworked if necessary.

For printers with black PSU, the strut comes with an additional bracket which allows fixing of the strut to the side of the printer frame extrusion. Alternatively, the T-nuts can be placed in the top slot of the extrusion or the extrusion can be rotated by 90° (as in the Prusa instructions) . Also, one can use additional nuts to fix the strut to both, the upper and the side slot of the extrusion.
