Vintage Amethyst and Rhodolite Garnet Necklace

This exquisite necklace is most likely amethyst and small rhodolite garnet stones. I am not a jeweler, and have had it looked at. The consensus is that it is amethyst with small stones of rhodolite garnet as shown. Nevertheless, in pricing this, benefit from my uncertainty. The necklace is at least 50 years old. This piece of jewelry comes from my mom's estate. Where I think jewelry is to be valued under $500, it is pointless to pay for an expensive appraisal, when the appraisal might cost more than the piece of jewelry. So, I have done my best to approximate the value. I do know that these have been in my mom's possession for at least 30-50 years. She passed several years ago.
