Now this is a tricky  piece of hardware to find and even worse when you really need  it! These barrel connectors are used to hold your heater cables  and accelerator cables on. So, at the most, you'll only need  three per car but we're giving you 4 because it's too easy to  lose 'em! Do it once - do it right!

While these are used on all air-cooled VWs, automatic and fuel injected models normally didn't use them on the accelerator cable.
