This 2021 $2 Coloured Uncirculated Coin commemorates Australia's brave and skilled ambulance service personnel and the vital, mobile healthcare they provide. Over 33,000 paramedics, communication centre operatives, researchers, analysts, corporate staff and volunteers provide unrivalled service and support. From the busy urban centres, the vast regional and rural districts, to the remote outback, they are there, ready 24/7, to provide life-saving support to patients in need.

50th Anniversary of the Aboriginal Flag – 2021 $2 Coloured Circulating Coin
Harold Thomas’ iconic flag design is strikingly represented on the coin with the black and red fields printed over a relief pattern of miniature flags. The centre of the coin has been left ‘print-free’ allowing the gold of the coin’s alloy to shine through as a unique representation of the central yellow sun motif.

During the pandemic a new type of Australian hero has emerged! Their bravery and professionalism ensured that we were safe, secure and looked after. These heroes are Australia’s Frontline Workers. The Royal Australian Mint proudly acknowledges their effort and skills with this 2022 Uncirculated Frontline Workers $2 Coin.

Small yet mighty is the honey bee that populates Australia, producing delicious honey and contributing to the country’s agricultural success by pollinating crops. This year marks the bicentenary of Australia’s honey bee industry, with the coin commemorating both the remarkable creatures and conscientious beekeepers. Produced by the Royal Australian Mint and the Australian Honey Bee Industry Council, the intricately-designed and delightfully bright coin celebrates the worker bee in us all.

NOTES:
