An absolutely lovely and fine antique American marked "Davis Palmer & Co pure coin" silver (pure coin silver=900/1000 silver, so slightly lower than sterling) teapot, ornate in design, superb craftmanship, a fine example of antique American silver ware.
We love its gorgeous shape and exquisite detailing including flower bud and leaves as lid finial, shell decor at the spout, extra touch on the handle, and 3 floral bands on the body and base.
Appox. 8.6" tall with lid, 7.1" at tallest without lid; From tip of spout to other end of the handle at longest appox. 10.35"; Inside: Appox. 4.55" tall; Base: Apox. 4.25" in diameter.
Appox. 726 grams in total weight.
