The ADT Carbon Monoxide Detector is an easy-to-install, battery-operated safety device with a sensor that detects carbon monoxide. When dangerous levels of carbon monoxide gas are detected inside your house, this device helps protect you and your family by sounding a loud alarm and by connecting to your ADT Command Security System, which provides communication to ADT’s monitoring center for emergency response notification.

Alarm

If a CO alarm occurs at a device, this device will sound four rapid pulses, five second pause, then repeat.

You should leave the house immediately. Do not panic. Stay calm. Follow your family’s escape plan. Get out of the house as quickly as possible. Do not stop to get dressed or collect anything. Meet at your planned meeting place after leaving the house.

LED Indicators

LEDs located on the top and side of the SIXCOVA, and a sounder, provide local visual and audible indication of the detector’s status.

Top multi-color Status LED:

Green = Supervisory indication; blinks during power on, reset, and during normal operation

Amber = Signal maintenance and trouble events

Red = CO Alarm condition

Side LED windows (4) indicate alarms:

Blue = CO Alarm condition
