This listing is for a Japanese Coffee and Tea canister set.

Produced ca. 1920's - 1930's. They are made of pottery and hand painted.

Design is unusual as it looks like a picket fence with flowers and 

leaves above it. Design goes all around the canisters. 

Top has single flower and leaf on three sides. 

Coffee and Tea printed in black on the front. 

The set is in good condition. No chips on the pottery.

There may be a couple of surface cracks but more likely part

of the crazing condition. This crazing is usually found on this type

of pottery made during this time period. Inside is clean.

There is some staining, also a condition found on this type of pottery. (all photos).

I can not identify maker. See back stamp. (photos 8-9)

Any white spots or lines are from overhead lighting.

Both measure 4 5/8" high, 4 3/4" wide, 3 1/4" deep.
