ANTIQUE TENKARA JAPANESE FISHING BAMBOO ROD - Fly Pole Vintage Hand Made - Sword.

Beautifully crafted antique Japanese Tenkara fishing rod. Similar to American fly fishing but with a much longer rod for accurate placement of your fly across current. Just pulled out of an old New Hampshire barn in October. There was a museum quality antique American rod. I don’t know much about Japanese fishing but this may be that caliber. I don’t see any mark on it unfortunately. These bamboo hand made rods are very rare, particularly rare in America. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was taken back from WWII and it was likely already quite old then. There were other relics of the war from Japan in the barn. It’s in perfect condition as far as I can see. There is a natural bend in the top segment that’s been there since manufacture. Each segment is about 28.5” long. This makes the pole just under 12’ long. It will ship ASAP! Thanks
