Vtg Montblanc Meisterstuck No 149 Fountain Pen 14k & Mechanical Pencil
A vintage 5.75” long 1970s-1980s Mont Blanc Meisterstuck black and gold case No. 149 fountain pen with 14k 4810 nib and matching 5 3/8” long mechanical pencil. Not a fountain pen expert here, but from what a fountain pen friend has told me this comes with a #9 nib. It is not marked, but tip measures slightly less than 1 mm, and using this chart would indicate a "B".
EF: ~0.43mm
F: ~0.50mm
M: ~0.62mm
B: ~0.92mm
BB: ~1.05mm.
Fresh from a fine old Denver estate, and offered with No Reserve.
Condition is excellent overall, selling drawer fresh, showing the lightest of use, appears unused, and is untested. Minor handling and storage marks with no damage or repairs. Original case and box.
