I can't believe it's not an Adafruit NeoPixel ring! It's a larger ring at 70 mm outer diameter but it works exactly the same and all the same instructions and handling precautions apply. See the Adafruit NeoPixel guide for futher information on connecting and controlling WS2812 LEDs.

You might want to figure out how you're going to control these before buying! They require 4-7 V (5 V seems an obvious choice) to run and have a data in and data out pad so they can be chained in series. The data protocol is timing sensitive and requires a suitable controller such as the Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Teensy or ESP8266 (among many others) to control it. Adafruit also stipulate the use of a 1000 uF capacitor across the power supply and a single 300-500 ohm resistor on the data pin. The data signal must be 5 V and if your microcontroller outputs 3.3 V then you will also need a logic level shifter.

By default, all orders are dispatched by Royal Mail Second Class/RM48. If your order is needed urgently, you are encouraged to select an upgraded postage option, such as First Class/RM24 or Royal Mail Special Delivery, during checkout.
