CANVAS NYC Lights by Amy Valiante 16x12 New York City Painting Reproduction Art Print This artwork was inspired by my son, Joey. He is a Sophomore in High School who would like to go to a college near the city. He challenged me to paint this cityscape- And I took it! Acrylic paints, brushwork was worked in multiple layers. Drying layers with a hair dryer became necessary to achieve colors of choice. Taping edges of buildings was part of the technique to acquire a straight line affect.
