Description

Honeymoon Trolley Ceramic Mini Music Box featuring two couples romantic honeymoon cable car ride. The figures are rendered in low poly style, yet very detailed despite their tiny size.
It has a musical movement in its swirl patterned rock background that plays the tune "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
It was made circa 1970 to late '80s, and has been sitting in a ceramic factory, where it was made, but ended up bankrupt some years ago.

Condition: It comes in its original box in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Music box works great.
Tag still attached, reading "CHERUB'S WEDDING RING FACTORY" with maker's name "Sekiguchi".

Air Small Packet, an economy shipping option, is offered by Japan Post, and an expedited shipping service is offered by DHL or FedEx. All services include tracking and insurance. Recipients have to sign for a package upon delivery.

Ship to USA

From August 2025, US customers should pay import duties on all goods imported to your country. Shipping to USA includes these taxes (not including your local sales tax) that I pay on behalf of buyers.

About My Store

My store provides Japanese Seto-yaki porcelain figurines. 'Seto-yaki', such as this ceramic music box, is a general term for porcelain products made in Seto Japan. Seto is a city located in the center of Japan, and is also the center for Japan's ceramics industry.
From Occupied Japan Era to the late '70s, Seto-yaki items under various brand names used to be exported worldwide. However, as the ceramics industry has been declining year by year, many manufacturers have been forced to shut down their factories in the last few decades.
