About My Store

My store provides Japanese Seto-yaki porcelain figurines and dinnerware. 'Seto-yaki' is a general term for porcelain products made in Seto Japan. Seto is a city located in the center of Japan, and is also the center for Japan's ceramics industry.
From Occupied Japan Era to the late '70s, Seto-yaki items under various brand names used to be exported worldwide. However, as the ceramics industry has been declining year by year, many manufacturers have been forced to shut down their factories in the last few decades. Now there are still lots of vintage products and reproductions available from local stores out there. If you want to find treasure pieces in Japan, you're welcome to visit my ebay store at any time.
