The egg air purifier is made of ceramic that contains 25-35% dolomite.
Dolomite, also referred to as calcium magnesium carbonate, is a type of milled limestone that is usually used in our ceramic materials to make ceramics light in weight and refined in appearance with its silky surface texture. Because the material has many minute pores on its surface, this dolomite ceramic egg absorbs gas molecules, a source of odors.
Besides, it is coated with photocatalyst. It becomes a strong oxidative decomposer by receiving the light such as solar light and room lighting. The light breaks down various harmful substances, bad smell, dirt, bacteria, virus and so on.
The cracked aperture at the top of egg is painted with luminous paint that glows purple under UV light so you can see the photocatalytic reaction is taking place.
It has on/off button and color changing LED lights at the bottom for lighting up so as to soothe your mind while purifying the air in your room.
Every time you turn the switch on, the color will change. (There are 7 colors): Blue, LightBlue, Green, Yellow, Pink, WhitePink, Red, and Rainbow that keeps changing color.
Please be mindful that some colors might be light or unclear due to the diffusion gel used to soften the LED light.

Shipping
Since air freight from Japan to the US is currently suspended, I can ship to US addresses only by sea freight. It takes 2-3 months for a cargo ship to go from Japan to any part of USA.
Will ship to other countries via ePacket or EMS. Both methods are offered by Japan Post. Tracking and Insurance are included. (You need to sign for the package when it's delivered. )

About My Store

Seto is a city located in the center of Japan, and is also the center for Japan's ceramics industry.
From Occupied Japan Era to the late '70s, Seto-yaki items under various brand names used to be exported worldwide. However, as the ceramics industry has been declining year by year, many manufacturers have been forced to shut down their factories in the last few decades. Now there are still lots of vintage products and reproductions available from manufacturers/retailers out there.
