This two piece gas tank set has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. Tanks set accepts a 3/8" axle and cateye dashes only.
Tank set features handshift mounts and shut off rod provision.
Order shut off rod and seat kit separately.
Mount strips are welded to each side to attach emblems and stainless trim.
Order emblems and trim separately.
Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly.
Check the tank for flaws or fit before painting.
Do not grind or sand the seams or joints.
Clean the inside of the tank.
It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer.
We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
Check shutoff opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed.
Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve.
All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment.
Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed, to achieve correct height.

Damages & Warranties
Damaged Shipments: Do not accept delivery from the carrier if the box has been damaged. If you can snap a picture of the damage and notify us ASAP we can replace the order right away. If you find shipping damage while opening your package be sure to keep all packing material and the shipping box so we can open a claim for you. Notify us right away so we start the process.
Missing Items or Wrong Item Received: Keep the box, packing material, all shipped parts and contact us right away.
Warranties: All products are warranted against manufacturer’s defects. Increasingly, many of our manufacturers handle claims directly to speed up the process of exchange or sending replacement parts. We’re happy to step in and get the ball rolling. Electronic parts must go back to the manufacturer for bench testing. Because issues are often solved over the phone with tech support, call the manufacturer first and be sure to get the name of whoever you speak with if you need to contact us.
Resolution Process: Business hours (8:00-5:00 pm EST) will get the resolution process going right away. After hours please email us so we know first thing in the morning there is a problem and we will contact you promptly.
