I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only new, full-size copies of my custom-drawn BABY ACE UC scale model PLANS for the famous MECHANIX ILLUSTRATED homebuilt that started the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Walter Musciano produced a marvelous scale model of the famous Mechanix Illustrated magazine's 1955 homebuilt project called the MI BABY ACE. The real airplane became the foundation for the EAA when so many plans were sold to make homebuilt airplanes. Dick Gleason updated Walter's scale model PLAN for me.
Musciano's UC model was published in a later issue of Mechanix Illustrated. The model has a 25" span and called for an O.K. Cub .14 for power. For those who like larger models, I blew up the PLAN 140% to a 38" span model that would do great with any modern .15 engine.
Dick Gleason re-inked these original PLANS for me in 1982 and the Mechanix Illustrated construction article is quite adequate for building a beautiful model as an RC.
I AM NOT SELLING A KIT OR MODEL, only new copies of the original PLANS.
YOU ARE PURCHASING COPIES OF BOTH THE 25" AND 36" SPAN SIZE PLANS PLUS CONSTRUCTION ARTICLE OF THIS OUTSTANDING HOMEBUILT PLANE, FOLDED AND IN A MANILA ENVELOPE.
