The SpiritPod X1S creates its own static field and triggers with sound and lights if a ghost gets too close. It generates its own static EMF field, and detects anything that enters or disturbs it. This includes humans, spirits and anything supernatural which is made up of electrical energy.
This device is very sensitive and will pick up the smallest change in its field. And it can detect a human hand from 8 inches away. The first thing to trigger is the audible alarm, if the presence is stronger, one or two lights will light up too.
If the presence is strong, all 4 lights will light up and the alarm will be triggered. It doesn't detect EMF like the K2 meter does, so putting it near a power source like a plug socket will not trigger it. It's more like the Rem Detector Pod and triggers when anything breaks the EMF field it generates.
This is an essential ghost hunting detector; we suggest 3 or 4 of them for indoor locations. It's handy to put one in each doorway near where you are investigating, catching anything that enters or leaves the room. The SpiritPod X1S can be used for spirit communication by asking yes or no questions.
You can ask a ghost to trigger it if it wants to communicate, if this happens, you can ask it to trigger it again if it’s a male, for example. The SpiritPod runs on a 9v battery which is not included, it can be quickly replaced if needed from the underside. There are two switches on the underside too, one for the sound and another for the power.
