FUNCTION: Stainless steel
mesh screen provides high-efficiency reduction of particles >50 microns. Easily cleaned & re-used indefinitely. Fits standard Big Blue sized filter housings.
CONSTRUCTION: Rugged triple-layer stainless steel screen mesh structure. 300 micron woven mesh over 50 micron efficiency layer over a perforated core. Silicone sealing gaskets.
APPLICATIONS: Excellent
for removing sand, grit, and other solids from water or industrial process
fluids. Suitable for potable water, food & beverage products, whole house
filtration, and a broad range of general industrial uses. Provides high flow to 20 GPM at low pressure drop (<2 psid).

Maximum Operating Temperature: 250°F
Recommended Maximum Operating Differential Pressure: 60 psid
The cartridge can be cleaned in
multiple ways:
- Rinsing in a
sink.
- Using a water
hose to dislodge contamination.
- Scrubbing with
a brush.
- Back-flushing
the unit in place and directing the flow to a drain.
- Soak the
cartridge in a cleaning solution that could be acidic, basic, or solvent,
based on the contamination to be removed.
