JVCC WMT-7 Wrestling Mat Tape is clear high quality polyethylene film tape (not vinyl) which is great for seaming together wresting mats. It is designed to remove cleanly without leaving adhesive residue behind. JVCC WMT-7 is a 4.5 mil low-density polyethylene film tape coated with a synthetic rubber adhesive (7 mils total thickness including adhesive coating). Its tough polyethylene backing offers good abrasion and tear resistance and its low tack adhesive suitable for surface protection applications. More gym and sport uses include seaming mats for gymnastics, mixed martial arts, and indoor trampoline facilities. Other benefits of the tape include lower elongation than vinyl tape (doesn't stretch as much) and it also offers very good conformability.
NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 72mm x 55m. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
