Chinese export style covered porcelain box or bowl.  Decorated on both sides with an armorial of Hope with an anchor.  Gilt shell handles on each side.  Measures 7 1/4" across over handles x 5 1/2" tall.  Good condition - rings like a bell. Probably dates from the early 20th century - a centennial piece.  There is a glaze loss to the underside - see photos.  Please view our other auctions.
