Brass and enamel letter opener with an underlay was made in cca 1860 in Europe. It is hand made. At the bottom are the letters E and M. I don´t know what it means...Rich decorations in enamel.The underlay is 16,5 cm (6,49 in) long and the knife is 15 cm (5,90 in) long.
It is in very nice condition, only the enamel is on some place a little bit worn out.
