Ohara Koson (Shoson)

(Japanese, 1877-1945)

Pair of woodblock prints

Two white geese and reeds, c.1928

Chrysanthemum and Stream, c. 1931

Paper size: 10 ¼ by 15 ¼ inches

Frame: 15 by 21 inches

The woodblock prints are floated in simple black frames.  There is some foxing and toning to the paper. The framing shows some wear.
