DESCRIPTION
XTD Stage 4 6-puck ceramic rigid clutch is designed for serious enthusiasts with considerable modifications. This disc features high-coefficient ceramic pads for quick engagement and extreme duty friction. Using a ceramic / sintered iron friction material, Stage 4 can hold power and rapidly dissipate unwanted heat. This setup is commonly used for racing, track and drag applications and can provide 100–400% over stock holding capacity (vehicle dependent).
STAGE 4 – 6-PUCK CERAMIC (RIGID) + 1700 LBS PRESSURE PLATE
Includes an XTD heavy-duty pressure plate (1700 lbs), 6-puck rigid copper ceramic disc, throw out bearing, alignment tool, installation guide and window decal. The extreme heavy-duty pressure plate is made from ductile iron and heat treated, which is about 25% stronger than stock cast iron pressure plates.
NOTE (NORMAL FOR RIGID CERAMIC)
Ceramic rigid solid hub engages very quickly and may chatter slightly upon starting from stop.
Professional installation recommended.
