They are made by the same factory that makes the OEMs, but these filters are not affiliated with LG This filter is Certified to deliver clean and healthy water by reducing the taste and odor of chlorine, iron, rust, limescale, dirt, sediment, silt, and other contaminants in your drinking water and ice cubes. Uses a leak-proof filter and coconut shell carbon to trap contaminants. The filter lasts 6 months and the capacity is 200 gallons. Installation is simple and requires no tools.
