HNJ2286-SU-4CYL - Land Rover Series SU Carburettor Adaptor Kit - Basic Version
HNJ Engineering brings you a conversion kit allowing the fitment of the following 1 3/4" SU carburettors to the Land Rover Series 2.25 petrol engine.

Carburettor not included.

Carburettors compatible with this kit:
- Zenith Stromberg CD175 - 1 3/4" (SU Part Number LZX 1739 - Lever Required. Some internal filling required as the CD175 spindle is marginally thicker than the HIF44)
- SU HIF 44 - 1 3/4" (SU Part Number LZX 1739 Lever fitted as standard)
- SU HS6 - 1 3/4"
- SU HD6 - 1 3/4"


The HNJ2286-SU-4CYL - Land Rover Series SU Carburettor Adaptor Kit - Basic Version includes the following:
- 1x HNJ2286-SU-4CYL - Land Rover Series SU Carburettor Adaptor (supplied with 4 OFF M8 Studs)
- 1x HNJ278162 - Carburettor Spacer, Aluminium
- 2x HNJ278163 - Gasket, Inlet Manifold
- 4x M8 Nuts, Plain Washers & Spring Washers. Note. You may wish to use alternative nuts or threading locking on your installation.

Notes:
HNJ2286-SU-4CYL is designed for use with Land Rover Part Number: 596000 - 2.25 Petrol Inlet Manifold, in conjunction with the factory fitted 2 OFF Land Rover Part Number 587726 - Stud for Carburettor Adaptor fitted. Depending on the carburettor fitted it will be necessary to fit HNJ2296-002 - Throttle Cable Bracket on different sides of the HNJ610849 - Carburettor Insulator 6mm Thk, for optimum throttle cable alignment.
This kit does not provide a solution for connectivity between the standard fitment oil bath air filter and the carburettor. If it is desirable to retain the oil bath air filter then we would recommend fitting the Zenith Stromberg CD175 Carburettor in conjunction with the 6 Cylinder Carburettor Elbow, Land Rover part number 596495.
