Lot of 2 Vintage Federal Glass miniature beer mug shot glasses / toothpick holders.  
2" tall made of amber glass and shaped like a beer mug with a fluted bottom. 

Federal Glass began in the early 1900's and quickly became the top producer of economical glassware.  These little beer mug glasses were introduced in the 1940's as "Handled Whiskies" and they were sold as salt-n-pepper shakers with tin lids. After WWII and through the 1950's they were used as shot glasses (and toothpick holders) and often sold as part of a "Rumpus Set" for those stylish and sophisticated "Rumpus Room" parties. They were made in several different colors like amber, pink, clear and various various jewel-tones.  

These glasses bear the "F" inside the shield trademark so it would have been made in the 1950's
Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
