Here we have an 8 x 12 photo showing aviation ordnancemen inspecting an AIM-54C Phoenix missile on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS SARATOGA (CV-60) during Operation Desert Shield. An attack Squadron 35 (VA-35) A-6E Intruder aircraft is behind them. The original image dated to December 1, 1990, location unknown.
