The coin has been struck in UK MINT.
The obverse features bas-reliefs of the eagle and lion from the 11th century Svetitskhoveli cathedral (representing symbols of state strength). The composition is finalized by a leaf ornament and seven stars. The coin is circled with the legend that reads, in Georgian, "3,000th anniversary of Georgian statehood."
REVERSE
The reverse features the denomination numeral "10" in the center with the inscription "lari" in Georgian. The edge is circled with the marginal legend, in Georgian: "National Bank of Georgia - 2000".
The edge of the coin is corrugated with English inscriptions: "GEORGIA" and "TEN LARI" with two stars in between.
