An invaluable tool to have for your air-cooled vw!

 While many of the tools needed to work on VWs can be sourced at your local parts store - there are some specialized ones that they just don't carry. When VW went from the earlier double-nut style adjustment on the clutch cable to the wing nut, it was certainly a lot easier to adjust. However, it's still a small wing nut so it can be difficult to get much leverage on it. This tool fits over the wing nut which allows you a larger area to grip. Very useful to have when you need it! This tool will only work with the clutch wing nut adjuster - it won't work on the earlier double-nut style.
Do it once - do it right!
