From Personal Experience: This variety is very easy to grow, less care,
although the flower is an unpleasant smell, gorgeous flower. Do not over water.
Protect from lots of rain, freeze, too hot or they will become rotten. This
year lots of rain and freeze here lost two 5 gallons.

from a mother tree, we will break the stem from notch no cut. Since this a
break/cut fresh upon order, we cannot provide a photo of exactly which one that
will be sent out, we will select the best healthy stem for you. You will
be pleased with the quality of this plant, so buy with confidence.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please know the temperature in your area

will be able to grow, as too many variables come into play, soil condition,
ability to garden, weather etc. We guarantee that they arrive as described and
are in good viable condition and the planting/rooting rates are accurate.
Because we are not there to plant them, we cannot be responsible for rooting
failure due to improper planting or climate conditions. Please do your homework
first. Most people, following proper directions, should be able to root
easily without much trouble.
Plant Description: Native to South Africa (Cape
Province). Protect from frost. Orbea variegata is a leafless, glabrous, clump-forming
succulent perennial. The four-angled stems are usually prominently
sharp-toothed, with a soft tip, grey-green mottled purple in full sun. Each
stem can reach over 10 inches (25 cm). Starfish-like flower, corolla up to 3
inches (7.5 cm) across, transversely ridged, pale greenish-yellow with dark
purple-brown spots mostly in 6 – 7 rows or sometimes irregularly scattered,
annulus pentagonal, up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) across, pale yellow with
small dots, lobes of corona yellow, dusted or spotted purple. Smooth,
cylindrical fruits blotched and dotted purple, up to 5 inches (12.5 cm)
long.
Can be grown Indoor or
Outdoor, best growing outdoor, this variety tends to like being in a hanging
type. This plant prefers semi-shade, filter sun, no direct sunlight or full sun
best to keep under shade in a greenhouse. Please google for further

Planting Cutting In
Ground: Easy, just simply
dig a hole about 2", insert cutting side in and cover back up with soil,
and add water. The ideal location of the plant is either partial sun or shade
area. This variety roots fast.
Basic Rooting Cutting
Instruction: Choose a location.
Start by using 4" pot or select the rooting method that works for you.
Leave it outdoor in shade area, no direct sunlight or indoor with sunlight
through the window is best or inside the greenhouse. Water only once, after
that if the soil gets dry mist water only. Throughout the growing season
rooting process could take between 2-4 weeks also depending on location, you
should start to see new growth, then water with slight fertilizer. Rooting
process needs a lot of heat/humid to develop roots. Winter rooting process takes longer. We suggest you root your plant indoor
leave your plant by a window with sunlight shine through.
Soil: Use a loose well-draining soil. Mixtures,
Cactus Soil, Perlite, Potting Soil Miracle-Gro. Use 50% Miracle-Gro
potting soil, 50% Cactus mix soil, 20% - 30% Perlite or You may use soil method
that will work for you to root the cutting.
Weather Plant Care: Shade or filtered sun – no direct sunlight and
no frost or freeze. Protect from too much rainwater. Protect the plant if it's
below 30F. Protect from very hot weather like above 90F. This plant is
sensitive to very hot or too cold.
Water Usage: On Established plants, watering is light.
Water when the soil is dry, we only water once a week on mature plants during
summer time or as needed, less water during winter or no water.
Fertilizer: On Established plants. Use Miracle-Gro
All-purpose throughout growing season or use your own method that will work for
you.

Return Policy: Returns are accepted, please use a
