marked Geschutzt inside. which is the German word for handmade.
Metal appears to be brass with an interior coating of another metal or heavy oxidation. Could be bronze too. There are some very tiny areas of what seems to be rust brown pain on the exterior. So this was probably painted at some point, maybe.

measures about 1 15/16 inch long and about 1.25 inches across by about 3/4 inch at thickest.

Overall excellent condition. Hinge works well and is not wobbly.
