Here's an interesting old map of Whately, Massachusetts, with an inset map of Whately Centre, and a listing of Business Notices for Ashfield. This map comes from the Atlas of Franklin County, published by F. W. Beers in 1871. It is approximately 12.5 inches by 15.5 inches. Hand colored.
Most houses on the map are identified by the owner's name. Also identified on this map: Popple Hill, Mt.
