I was in the same boat as you a few months back when I went looking for a replacement blade and I was gob smacked at the prices they wanted for these blades.
Which leads me to tell you why you've come to the right site.
I am a Chippy by trade and I was given one of these Renovators as a gift.
Now I must admit, I am not usually overly impressed by TV gimmicks but this tool has surely given me back more than what it is worth.

They are a handy tool, However… the blades don’t last as long as you would expect them too. All blades will at some time go blunt but, Come On!! You need to at least get more than a few cuts out of a blade.
I know what you are thinking, Made in China, low cost materials, that may be true in some cases but just about every thing is made in China so you don’t want to right off everything just because it comes from China.
My point is, if you know what to look for and where to look you can get what you want at a cost that is affordable.
In my trade there is a tool for each purpose and there is a blade made for a specific requirement.
