This is a lovely vintage 1950's-1960's Seatona Suit by Seaton Hall, Boston-New York. It is made of a royal navy cotton blend and is lightweight. This suit still has the original store tags from Purcell's, an upscale ladies shop in downtown. The skirt has darts for shaping on the front and back. There is a side zipper with a button. The skirt is unlined. The fully lined jacket has a notched collar, a four button front and two unopened curved pockets that match the center cut curve of the hem. There are bust darts, shoulder darts and seams down the back sleeves. The store tag reads size 16 which is a modern day size 12. Simple yet quality made suit is in excellent condition.
