**The color of the pictures is a bit off. The earrings look lavendar, almost like light amethyst. They are extremely pretty, but I would best describe them as a light purple color. The larger size CZs have more color, and the smaller size CZs have MUCH less color and look more clear.

The earrings shown in the pictures are 7mm studs, enlarged to show detail. Pink Alexandrite is the June birthstone. The color of the stones is actually lavendar. The smaller size CZ's have less less color and the larger CZ sizes have more color. These sterling silver birthstone earrings all feature high quality AAA grade cubic zirconia stones. The stones are secured using a strong basket setting. The basket setting is a huge upgrade over the prong setting. The earrings also use high grade screw backs. Note about CZ sizes and colors: The way cubic zirconia Stones are manufactured, the larger stones have a much bolder color. The smaller CZ sizes, especially 3mm, have much less color and look a bit more clear with a just hint of color. So as you go larger the colors become more saturated or bold and the smaller you go the less bold the colors.
