Melting dish crucibles can be used for melting Gold, Silver, Brass, Copper and other metals.  Crucibles are made of clay bonded high grade fused silica and withstand temperatures up to 2500°F/1371°C.

This is a set of 2 crucibles made of High Grade Fused Silica, the best you can buy!  Rated "A-1 TOP Quality" Crucible from ITALY.

The melting dishes can be handled with a tong or "Whip", crucibles have a pouring spout.
