These covers are the entry level for a cost effective waterproof cover. Other sellers may describe their tarpaulins as 'heavy duty' for exactly the same specification as what we would term an economy tarpaulin. Please see our other listings if you require a more durable cover, our complete range is from 80gsm up to 560gsm PVC with many choices in between. We classify our tarpaulins as 'heavy weight or heavy duty' from 200gsm and above. If you are unsure we will gladly post you a sample swatch.
Please Note: All our tarpaulin sizes are 'cut sizes' which is industry standard terminology for the size of the material before it is fabricated into a tarpaulin. Therefore expect the 'finished' size to be up to a maximum of 30 cms shorter. All sizes are metric, imperial sizes are approximations only.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
The user is advised to protect the tarpaulin from sharp edges, abrasion, wind flap and water pooling. We do recommend during inclement weather conditions to securely fasten your cover to reduce the risk of the tarpaulin flapping or the 'parachute effect' especially during windy conditions. If using the standard aluminium eyelets (spaced every 100cm) we suggest using all the eyelets with elasticated bungees / shock cord or rope. Rope is great for wrapping around and / or over the top of the tarp or for situations where the eyelets won't come under too much strain.The elasticated nature of bungee/shock cord reduces the strain applied to eyelets in comparison to rope.
Additional eyelets are also available and are recommended for any areas that may come under additional stress. We are selling a multi purpose tarpaulin and as such we do not warrant it for any particular use, therefore it is always recommended to make an assessment of the suitability of the tarpaulin for the specific use and the conditions the cover is likely to be subject to. Additional items like eyelets, bungees, tape or rope may be required, please visit our shop for further accessories. We do not warrant the tarpaulin due to accident, misuse, neglect, corrosive chemicals, extreme weather conditions, continued tension to the eyelets, normal wear and tear, causes external to the tarpaulin or where recommendations above have not been followed. Please check your tarpaulin before first use , if the tarp is found to be faulty upon receipt please contact as soon as possible so we can rectify the situation. Located on an eight-acre site in the beautiful Devon countryside, we distribute our tarpaulin products the length and breadth of the British Isles.
Tarpaulins-togo is one of the UKs largest importers of prefabricated poly tarpaulins, with over 110 different variations of size, colour and specification available. In addition we also supply a comprehensive range of dust sheets, poly rope, scaffold sheeting, debris netting and complementary products.
Our distribution warehouse is responsible for the movement of over 150 different lines, with a typical order being despatched within 24 hours of receipt and delivery occurring usually within 3 working days - a next day service is also available for a small premium. We use quality nationwide carriers Royal Mail, TNT, DPD and DX Courier to deliver our goods, and bulkier palletised goods are distributed via the Parsons network. Shipping
We aim to deliver your goods as soon as possible and normally within 5 working days of your order. If for any reason we are out of stock of any item we will notify you by e-mail and/or telephone and advise you as to when the item will be back in stock.
Please note: all of our delivery rates are applicable to single parcel consignments under 30kgs only, and may be higher for heavier / multi-parcel orders. We reserve the right to contact you in the event of insufficient carriage being paid.
Next working day service. Please note, this service is not applicable to any offshore locations or UK islands. Some remote areas may take longer for delivery (eg: Highlands). For information on our cut off times, please see below.

Our Carriers
We use third party carriers to deliver on our behalf. Currently we use DPD, UPS and Evri, any deliveries large enough to be despatched on a pallet will be sent via the Parsons pallet network. All our carriers require a signature on delivery; however if nobody is in at the time of delivery our carriers will try and deliver to a neighbour. If you are likely to be out, please leave delivery instructions when you order. The general delivery times for our carriers is 7:30am to 5:30pm although these hours are extended during busy periods; for example Christmas delivery times run up to 9pm. Therefore please ensure you leave any shipping notes where appropriate. This information will be passed to our carriers; however please note we can only operate within their terms and conditions, and hours of operation.
If our carriers cannot successfully deliver the goods to you a calling card will be left for you to respond to. If after a further unsuccessful attempt they still cannot deliver, the goods will be put on hold pending a response from the recipient; such instances may incur a 50% charge of the original delivery cost. Unretrieved goods will then be returned to us and a return/redelivery charge levied. Goods which may need re-delivering to a different address to that originally specified will also incur a redelivery charge.
As we use third party carriers we cannot be held responsible for any delays or non delivery of the products ordered. All delivery dates are entered into in good faith but are estimates only. No work should be undertaken until the goods have arrived.
Unfortunately there may be delays to deliveries during times of adverse weather. However please be assured that we will continue to endeavour to get your goods to you as quickly as possible.

Returns
Returns & Exchanges
All our products are guaranteed to be free from any defect at the time of purchase. If an item is found to be faulty upon receipt, we will refund or replace the product without charge. In such instances we will always request that an image of the fault is sent through first for us to assess; we have found that this is the quickest and most efficient way for us to resolve any customer issues.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with any goods purchased or have changed your mind about the purchase, please inform us in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods to arrange for their return. Please ensure that you request a Returns form from us, as we will need your contact details to initiate a refund or replacement. Once we have received the goods they will be inspected and the agreed course of action executed. The goods must be sent to us unused and in their original packaging. You should ensure there is sufficient outer packaging of the product to ensure safe and secure transit of the goods back to us, as the returned product must be 'as new' and in a resellable condition. It is the responsibility of the buyer to safely return the goods back to us. Credits or replacements will not be issued until goods are received and signed for by one of our staff members.
Please note: original carriage costs will only be refunded if goods are faulty or differ from what was advertised. If you would like us to organise for the goods to be returned please contact us to arrange this; the return carriage costs will then be deducted from any refund due.
In the event of unwanted goods being returned, Tarpaulins To Go reserve the right to levy a restocking fee; you will of course be informed of this before your refund is processed. A fee will also be levied on any goods requiring repacking; please contact us for further details.
