1864 PLAN OF THE LAND OFFERED FOR SALE BY HENRY W MOULTON OF NEWBURYPORT MAP

This is really a great piece of Americana.  It comes out of the Henry Moulton ledger I sold a long time ago.  It is in fact the only thing I took out of the ledger.  Really a wonderful map.  I have searched over and over and been unbale to find another copy of this map.  I think it is more of an advertisement or broadside that happens to be a map.  There is no publishers information so my guess is that moulton had it published himself with on of his businesses.  It is a good size map measuring 13 1/2 x 19 1/4 inches.  It says the scale is 4 rods to an inch.  The streets on the map include High Street, Forrester Street, Willow Avenue, Maple Street, Chapel Street, and Woodland Court.  Really a great view of a small neighborhood in Newburyport.  Overall the condition is very good and has just some minor spots and other inconsistent soiling.  Original creases as it was probably issued with just a some small extra creases to the corners.  No real issues.  Really a very early town map that I dont know if you are ever going to find another one of these.  FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES!
