Reverse Design by Don Everhart. As the coin image above reflects, it depicts the statue of Master Commandant Oliver Hazard Perry with the Peace Memorial located in the distance. Inscriptions include PERRY’S VICTORY, OHIO, 2013 and E PLURIBUS UNUM. Obverse show portrait of George Washington, the first President of the United States. The portrait was originally designed by John Flanagan and has been seen on quarters (with minor variations) since 1932. Obverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, QUARTER DOLLAR and Mint Mark.
