Hello, I have come across a box full of these mandrels in an engineers estate.  I also happen to do a lot of honing in my profession so I know quite a bit about the subject.  This is a blind hole mandrel.  The length of the cutting surface is .887".  This mandrel was designed to hone all the way to the bottom of a hole unlike your standard sunnen 495 mandrel.  If you look at the picture closely you will notice the nose is blunt.  If you are honing short pieces or needed to bottom out in a hole this would be perfect.  I have 76 of these as of right now!  I would discount a large quantity order!  You are bidding on the new mandrel, new wedge, and the origional box all pictured in listing.  I WILL SHIP EACH ADDITIONAL MANDREL FREE!!!  I will try to ship out within 2 business days of a cleared payment(usually next day).  If you have any questions feel free I will answer as soon as possible.
