The EXFO MaxTester MAX-730C-SM8-EA is a professional handheld PON and metro OTDR with tri-wavelength singlemode testing at 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1650 nm live fibre, designed for FTTH construction, in-service troubleshooting, and metro point-to-point characterisation. It combines a high-performance OTDR with EXFO's intelligent iOLM (intelligent Optical Link Mapper) software for automated, one-touch pass/fail fibre analysis, eliminating the need for manual parameter configuration. The integrated PM-MAX-2X-VFL module adds multiwavelength optical power meter and visual fault locator capability, making this a complete all-in-one fibre test platform.
