Antique Stanley No. 20 10” try square, a traditional woodworking layout tool used for checking and marking accurate 90-degree angles. Try squares were an important part of the carpenter’s and joiner’s tool chest and were commonly used for woodworking, cabinetmaking, and general layout work.

The Stanley No. 20 designation makes this an interesting example for collectors of antique Stanley tools and traditional woodworking equipment.

Overall in decent shape. The wooden handle and brass are in good shape. The blade is too but has a weird finish on it. Pretty smooth with a few rough spots just kinda splotchy.
