Overview
For sale is a 2004 Volkswagen Polo hatchback (1.2L petrol, manual transmission, right-hand drive). The car has a classic red exterior and a black interior. It has covered a very low 64,000 miles from new and comes with a valid V5C logbook registration document.
Vehicle Condition & Recent History
This car is a fantastic, highly efficient runner that has been well-maintained with major recent component replacements:
Reason for Sale & MOT Status
The car has recently failed its MOT. The primary issue requires replacing the suspension springs. I no longer need the vehicle, and fixing the springs is simply more effort than it is worth for me personally.
Because it has a Euro 4 emission class engine, this petrol Polo is ULEZ compliant, making it an incredibly valuable project. Once the springs are fixed, it will make a highly practical, fuel-efficient city runaround. Alternatively, with such low mileage and excellent mechanical parts (clutch, radiator, driveshaft), it is a goldmine for valuable spares.
Important Terms & Logistics
Note on dashboard: There is an orange brake sensor light on. This did not cause the MOT failure, is not on the failure sheet, and has passed previous MOTs with it on, but it is present. It is not an issue with the brakes, but the electrics. The front windows also sometimes fail to work - again, an electrical issue.
