Unusual vintage Eisenhower Medical Center commemorative art glass paperweight featuring an etched depiction of the iconic Rancho Mirage hospital campus with the San Jacinto Mountains and palm trees in the background.

The piece is inscribed “Thanks For The Memories” and features an etched reproduction of Bob Hope’s signature, a particularly fitting connection given Bob and Dolores Hope’s important role in the establishment and support of Eisenhower Medical Center.

Also signed/marked in the glass by artist R.M. Yates at the lower portion of the design.

A substantial, extremely heavy piece of clear glass with a faint aqua/green cast and thick sculptural edges. This appears to have been produced as a special commemorative, presentation, donor, or institutional piece rather than ordinary retail merchandise.
