[Body, Neck, and Fingerboard] The body features a classic combination of flame maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck.
The fingerboard is made of ebony. [Neck Shape] The neck shape is "Pattern Regular". It has a moderate thickness and a comfortable grip. [Pickups] The pickups are the "85/15," which are an updated version of the early 1985 PRS pickups, released to commemorate the 30th anniversary.
Featuring a rich and brilliant sound characterized by smoothly extended low frequencies and clear, wide high frequencies, this guitar is suitable for a wide range of genres, especially rock. Furthermore, the 2020 model features the "85/15 TCI" pickup, which utilizes the TCI (Tuned Capacitance & Inductance) process.
The wiring of the conventional 85/15 pickup has been revised, and the sound has dramatically changed simply by altering the winding method. The clean sound is significantly clearer and softer than the previous model.
The harsh high frequencies have been reduced, and the balance is slightly shifted towards the low frequencies, resulting in a more mellow impression. [Condition] There is a paint chip on the headstock, but the guitar is in relatively good condition with minimal signs of use. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playability-related conditions are in perfect working order.
