Vintage Leather Cigarette Case w/ Sterling Silver Clasp.
This is a beautifully made brown leather cigarette case, about 14cm in length, 9.5cm wide, and 1.5cm in depth, though this does take into account the metal bands on each end.
The metal bands look to be made of copper, though were probably originally silver plated.
It has a silver metal clasp which is actually hallmarked 'Sterling', with a secondary receiver mount.
Unfortunately the clasp doesn't hold or click into place, and having looked at it quite carefully, either the silver receiver piece has moved slightly, or the silver has rubbed and worn down, which may well be something that can be rectified.
The inside of the case is split into three compartments, all coated in pale tan leather.
There is some obvious age and use related wear, and as I have shown, one of the metal bands can be manipulated off, though not actually loose.
The quality is exceptionally good, and it is an attractive piece, so please check all the photos.
