This is oval with D shaped edging top and bottom, plain silver band and repousse work to the front depicting 2 hares in a woodland setting.

The hallmark is on the rear side above the bottom edging, small but shows an import mark with the initials for the importer NB, 925 for sterling silver quality and the London mark L for 1985.

The silver is in very good condition with no splits, pin pricks or excessive polishing and the repousse work is crisp. There is very slight tarnishing evident in the recesses, mentioned for accuracy.

The cushion has been covered in mid green velvet and filled with crushed walnut shell to prevent the pins rusting. The base is black pebble leather.

Dimensions are  5.25cm x 2.75cm diameter x 3.2cm tall.
