Constructed from an ultra-lightweight, high-shine cire nylon, this unlined blouson features a relaxed, cropped drape engineered for transitional utility layering. The structural profile incorporates a gathered, elasticized rear waistband and a convertible point collar fitted with an integrated throat latch closure. Hardware consists of period-accurate metallic snap closures on the dual waist pockets and a heavy-duty, American-made Prentice block-letter aluminum front zipper.

Although the primary manufacturer's interior label has been removed or faded completely over time, the presence of the Prentice hardware firmly anchors this garment in mid-century American sportswear production. The distinct "wet look" high-gloss nylon textile was a hallmark of late 1960s and 1970s outerwear, popularized by the intersection of auto-racing aesthetics and experimental disco-era casualwear, making this a prime example of unbranded, era-specific design.
