Condition & Preparation

• Many of the tools offered by The Tradesmans Corner are antique, vintage, used, or well-used examples. They may show signs of age, use, previous repairs, modifications, rust, patina, wear, or other imperfections consistent with their history.

• Most tools have been disassembled, cleaned, and, when appropriate, de-rusted by me.

• Unless specifically stated in the listing, tools are not sharpened, tuned, calibrated, or professionally restored.

• Cleaning and de-rusting are intended to improve presentation and remove surface debris or corrosion; they should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a tool is ready for immediate use.

• I make every effort to accurately describe each item, including any significant damage, missing parts, modifications, or defects that I observe. However, with older tools, minor imperfections and age-related wear may not always be mentioned.

• Please review all photographs carefully. The photographs are an important part of the description and should be considered when evaluating the item’s overall condition.

• Unless otherwise stated, assume that antique and vintage tools may require additional cleaning, adjustment, repair, sharpening, or restoration before being put into service.
