Which Material Should I Choose?

Static cling (no adhesive)

No glue at all – it clings directly to clean, smooth glass. Removable, repositionable and reusable, and leaves no sticky residue. For glass only. The best choice for rented homes, seasonal displays or if you like to move things around.

Available in sizes 10cm to 60cm.

Clear vinyl (self-adhesive)

A transparent self-adhesive vinyl. Light passes through the printed colours for a stained-glass effect, and the glass stays see-through around the design. Please note that any white areas of the artwork will appear clear. A longer-lasting fixed option for windows and glass doors.

Available in all sizes, 10cm to 70cm.

White vinyl (self-adhesive)

A solid white self-adhesive vinyl that gives the boldest, most solid colour. It is not see-through, so it also works on non-glass surfaces such as walls, doors, furniture and mirrors – as well as on windows where you do not need to see through the design.

*70cm is available in White Vinyl and Clear Vinyl only. Static Cling is available up to 60cm.

How to apply – static cling

1. Thoroughly clean the glass to remove dust, dirt and grease.
2. Lightly mist the glass with clean water.
3. Position the static cling on the glass.
4. Adjust the position until you are happy with the placement.
5. Smooth from the centre outwards to remove excess water and trapped air.
6. Allow the remaining moisture to dry.

How to apply – white vinyl & clear vinyl

1. Thoroughly clean the surface and make sure it is completely dry.
2. Decide on your position before you start – self-adhesive vinyl is not designed to be repositioned.
3. Peel back a small section of the backing paper and line up the top edge of the decal.
4. Slowly peel away the rest of the backing while smoothing the vinyl down from the centre outwards with a soft cloth or squeegee.
5. Work out any trapped air towards the nearest edge.

Removal

Static Cling: there is no adhesive, so it can be carefully peeled away and reused. If storing it for later, keep the cling surface clean and protected from dust and dirt.

White & Clear Vinyl: these can be peeled away when you no longer want them, but they are self-adhesive and are not reusable once removed.
